Keoni's original design honors Hawaiian ancestral spirit guides, or ʻaumākua. The triangle symbolizes the shark (mano), protector in the water; the feathers symbolize the owl (pueo), guardian on land. The wavy lines represent the ocean’s powerful life force. Keoni's design also includes the signature band he carves into the headdresses of his tikis.
Genuine Tahitian black pearl is of the highest quality (AAA-grade, with beautiful luster and color, and smooth, silky skin).
Part of Keoni's 2011 Makau Pendant Collection, the hook is a symbol of fortitude -- it means you can provide for yourself and others.

Just purchased this stunning pendant while in Kauai. I secretly had scoped this out a few months before our trip, but thought I would wait until I got to Kauai to see if I could find something I liked better. I searched the north and south shores and the east side and could not find anything that holds a candle to this piece of art. Thanks Keoni and Heather for helping me find the perfect gift for my wife. She hasn't taken it off since she got it!

I purchased this hook for a Christmas present. I ordered it late, but it still arrived the 24th. I even received several calls from Heather making sure I got it. The product is beautiful and the new owner was thrilled. I will definitely order again.
