(6 feet high):  Mountain Maile Vines, used in time of celebration, are carved on and around the post of a ‘marriage bed’ given to the wedding couple by the father of the groom. Made of rare Kauai Pheasant wood. Total value of bed—including wood—approx. $40,000; custom posts $3,500 apiece (carving only).
