Ali’i Kai: Leader by the Sea

This tiki wears the helmet of a high chief (Ali'i), which symbolizes leadership. Carved on a rooted coconut tree at the Kauai Marriott, it represents the spirit of sportsmanship and recreation. Original sculpture was found in a cave on Kauai circa 1850. (approx. 6-feet high)
