Product Description

Keoni’s stylized fish hook was inspired by the fluid form of the ocean waves. The Tahitian Black Pearl symbolizes the heart, and glows within the setting. Part of Keoni's 2011 Makau Pendant Collection, the hook symbolizes fortitude -- simply put, it means "you can."

All pearls are of the highest quality (AAA-grade, with beautiful luster and color, and smooth, silky skin), and range from 9-11mm in size. 

  • Sterling silver pendant has been rhodium-treated, to enhance durability and shine.
  • Shown with 10mm, AAA-grade, semi-round Tahitian black pearl.
  • Also available in gold and platinum.
  • Measures one and three-eighths inches high, by three-fourths an inch wide (1 3/8"H x 3/4"W). 
  • Can accomodate chains up to 4mm.
  • Shown on 1.4mm silver snake chain.
  • Chain sold separately.

    Simple and elegant! I purchased a Spirit of the Wave pendant with a Tahitian pearl at the Farmer's Market in Hanalei, and could not have chosen a more perfect piece of Kauai to carry my beautiful memories of the ocean waves back to Massachusetts forever. Mahalo!

    Everytime I see or wear my necklace I am reminded of the Spirit of the Islands. Keoni, you have captured the meaning of the people and the land in this piece. Nowhere else in the United States can you feel the Spirit of culture as you can in Hawaii. Your work has touched my heart and soul and gives me great respect to your people. I will always have Aloha.     A serendipitous meeting with Keoni and Heather has led me to believe this Island has a loving pulse in it. They have become my new "Ohana".

    The delicate work of Keoni and his warm, loving demeanor is symbolized by the beautiful Iridescent Tahitian pearl. The colors elicit positive emotions. A worthy anniversary present.

    My wife bought me a tatoo makau, and I always get great compliments and inquiries about it. Whenever I wear it I feel like I am back at the Hanalei market on Kauai. I love that island, and the people that live there are so friendly! Thanks for the great craftsmanship, Keoni! My wife will be looking at one of the pearl wave pendants when we come back.

    My sister-in-law and I bought our makau pendants in February, 2011 at the Hanalei Farmer's Market. We both LOVE our pendant and have received many compliments. It keeps my Aloha going, especially when I'm back in Michigan.

    My daughter gave me the Spirit of a Wave for Mother's Day. It is absolutely the most beautiful necklace. I have received so many compliments on it. I love it and feel like I have a piece of Kauai with me at all times.
