Loading... Please wait...Keoni's original design honors Hawaiian ancestral spirit guides, or ʻaumākua. The triangle symbolizes the shark (mano), protector in the water; the feathers symbolize the owl (pueo), guardian on land. The wavy lines represent the ocean’s powerful life force. Keoni's design also includes the signature band he carves into the headdresses of his tikis.
Part of Keoni's 2011 Makau Pendant Collection, the hook is a symbol of fortitude -- it means you can provide for yourself and others.

My wife bought me a Hawaiian Tattoo Makau and its beautiful. I also have a Maui style Makau I got after meeting Keoni in Kauai. The work he does on the Makau and the braided cord are fantastic. Get more than one they're all great! Keoni is also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

I love Kauai and want to help out local artisans rather than big businesses. When I discovered Keoni's work I was really impressed with his passion, honouring his culture. When I received the Hawaiian Tattoo pendant I was more than pleased. It is exceptionally well made, has clean smooth lines, the tattoo is perfect and the silver shines. I've seen a lot of other Fish Hook pendants but they are all vanilla, this one is truly unique ... hoping he does the same tattoo with the Kauai Style Makau. Aloha!

We love the work both Keoni and Heather do on their gold and silver necklaces. Each piece is inspired by Keoni's knowledge of Kauai's tradition and spirit, and the craftsmanship is remarkable. We bought a Hawaiian Tattoo fish hook necklace for Karen's brother, Tweety, while he visited us here, and it has become his most prized possession. Thanks to you both for the true gift of your hearts seen in every piece you present.

These gorgeous hand crafted pendants are like Kauai Sunsets, the same, only different. No two are exactly alike and each is beautiful in it's own right.
Being Irish, I am superstitious and the symbolism of the design also drew me in. When I wear my pendant, I do believe that I feel not only fortitude but some of the special Kauai spirit of aloha, no matter where I am.
Mahalo Keoni for this constant connection to my beloved Kauai.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of hand-crafted jewelry. It is perfect in every respect! I like unique and different...this is definitely not "off the rack". The uniqueness is only surpassed by the beautiful workmanship. Great doing business with these folks......

I don’t typically wear jewelry, but I was immediately attracted to Keoni's fish hook pendants. The item is superbly crafted, and I have received numerous compliments on this great looking pendant. Keoni, you are specially talented, and it was great meeting you in person.

Ever since I saw Keoni's fish hook pendants, I couldn't get them out of my mind. God, they're so gorgeous and I love the meaning behind them.

My wife and I bought two fish hooks from Keoni as anniversary presents. We are very pleased with the quality and how they retain the tattooed black on the hook. If you like what you see in the picture, you will like the product.

While vacationing on Kauai with my Ohana, I met Keoni. I was amazed by his carvings and jewelry. His work truly represents the Hawaiian Culture and the Aloha Spirit. My daughter and I wanted to get a special gift for my husband, one that would remind him of all the wonderful memories that were created while on Kauai. I purchased the Hawaiian Tattoo Makau pendant for my husband. My daughter and I believe that this pendant will be a reminder to my husband of our Ohana's love for Kauai/Hawaii and for one another.
